Designing a Recognisable Brand
Ingressive Capital
Ingressive Capital is a VC firm investing in tech-enabled startups in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Morocco and Egypt. The fund is Delaware-incorporated and headquartered in Nigeria.
I started with the firm in 2019 after launching its first fund in 2017. My work at the time involved building a harmonised brand look and helping to position the brand as one of the most impactful VC firms in Africa.
Objectives
As the sole in-house designer, I was responsible for all things visual!.
I built a complete visual identity system, designed brand communication materials (for social media, email marketing, etc), created fundraising and reporting decks, and designed the company’s website.
In a nutshell, if anything needed design, it was on my plate.
Ingressive Capital is one of the companies in the Ingressive Conglomerate – consisting of Ingressive LLC, Ingressive Capital and Ingressive for Good.
To maintain brand harmony across all three (3) brands, the same icon was used.
Part of my role also included designing creatives for events, social media campaigns, newsletters and other marketing materials to help the brand communicate with its audience
